t worry if you think calculating the stakes to lay off is complicated. It&#=

39;s not! It's actually very easy. You simply multiply=

the decimal back odds by your initial stake and then divide by the decimal=

lay price.

For example, if you stak=

e =A3500 at 12/1 (13.0 decimal) and want to lay off at 4/1 (5.0 decimal) th=

en the calculation is (13*500)/5=3D1300. Therefore you lay at 4/1 and the b=

acker stakes =A31,300 meaning you will make a clear profit=

of =A3800 whether the horse wins the race or not!

You see, if the horse wi=

ns, you win =A36,000 from your initial back bet (12*5=

00) and lose =A35,200 from your lay bet (4*1300) which lea=
