and my father's household, who were in the land of Canaan, have come to me.

33 (Ge 46:32) When Pharaoh calls you and asks, 'What is your occupation?'

34 (Ge 43:32; Ex 8:26) you shall say, 'Your servants have been

keepers of livestock from our youth even until now, both we and our fathers,'

so that you may dwell in the land of Goshen,

because every shepherd is an abomination to the Egyptians"

Genesis 46

[1] And Israel took his journey with all that he had, and came to

Beer-sheba, and offered sacrifices unto the God of his father Isaac.

[2] And God spake unto Israel in the visions of the night, and said, Jacob,

Jacob. And he said, Here am I.

[3] And he said, I am God, the God of thy father: fear not to go down into

Egypt; for I will there make of thee a great nation:

[4] I will go down with thee into Egypt; and I will also surely bring thee

up again: and Joseph shall put his hand upon thine eyes.

[5] And Jacob rose up from Beer-sheba: and the sons of Israel carried Jacob

their father, and their little ones, and their wives, in the wagons which

Pharaoh had sent to carry him.

[6] And they took their cattle, and their goods, which they had gotten in

the land of Canaan, and came into Egypt, Jacob, and all his seed with him:

[7] His sons, and his sons' sons with him, his daughters, and his sons'

daughters, and all his seed brought he with him into Egypt.

[8] And these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into

Egypt, Jacob and his sons: Reuben, Jacob's firstborn.

[9] And the sons of Reuben; Hanoch, and Phallu, and Hezron, and Carmi.

[10] And the sons of Simeon; Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and

Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman.

[11] And the sons of Levi; Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

[12] And the sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah, and Pharez, and Zerah:

but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan. And the sons of Pharez were

Hezron and Hamul.

[13] And the sons of Issachar; Tola, and Phuvah, and Job, and Shimron.

[14] And the sons of Zebulun; Sered, and Elon, and Jahleel.

[15] These be the sons of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob in Padan-aram,

with his daughter Dinah: all the souls of his sons and his daughters were

thirty and three.

[16] And the sons of Gad; Ziphion, and Haggi, Shuni, and Ezbon, Eri, and

Arodi, and Areli.

[17] And the sons of Asher; Jimnah, and Ishuah, and Isui, and Beriah, and

Serah their sister: and the sons of Beriah; Heber, and Malchiel.

[18] These are the sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to Leah his daughter, and

these she bare unto Jacob, even sixteen souls.

[19] The sons of Rachel Jacob's wife; Joseph, and Benjamin.

[20] And unto Joseph in the land of Egypt were born Manasseh and Ephraim,

which Asenath the daughter of Poti-pherah priest of On bare unto him.

[21] And the sons of Benjamin were Belah, and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and

Naaman, Ehi, and Rosh, Muppim, and Huppim, and Ard.

[22] These are the sons of Rachel, which were born to Jacob: all the souls

were fourteen.

[23] And the sons of Dan; Hushim.

[24] And the sons of Naphtali; Jahzeel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shillem.

[25] These are the sons of Bilhah, which Laban gave unto Rachel his

daughter, and she bare these unto Jacob: all the souls were seven.

[26] All the souls that came with Jacob into Egypt, which came out of his

loins, besides Jacob's sons' wives, all the souls were threescore and six;

[27] And the sons of Joseph, which were born him in Egypt, were two souls:

all the souls of the house of Jacob, which came into Egypt, were threescore

and ten.

[28] And he sent Judah before him unto Joseph, to direct his face unto

Goshen; and they came into the land of Goshen.

[29] And Joseph made ready his chariot, and went up to meet Israel his

father, to Goshen, and presented himself unto him; and he fell on his neck,

and wept on his neck a good while.

[30] And Israel said unto Joseph, Now let me die, since I have seen thy

face, because thou art yet alive.

[31] And Joseph said unto his brethren, and unto his father's house, I will

go up, and shew Pharaoh, and say unto him, My brethren, and my father's

house, which were in the land of Canaan, are come unto me;

[32] And the men are shepherds, for their trade hath been to feed cattle;

and they have brought their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have.

[33] And it shall come to pass, when Pharaoh shall call you, and shall say,

What is your occupation?

[34] That ye shall say, Thy servants' trade hath been about cattle from our

youth even until now, both we, and also our fathers: that ye may dwell in

the land of Goshen; for every shepherd is an abomination unto the Egyptians.

GENESIS 47

1 (Ge 46:31; 45:10) Then Joseph went and told Pharaoh,

"My father and my brothers and their flocks and their herds

and all that they possess have come from the land of Canaan

and are now in the land of Goshen."

2 (Ac 7:13) He took five men from among his brothers

and presented them before Pharaoh.

3 (Ge 46:33-34) Pharaoh asked his brothers, "What is your occupation?"

And they said to Pharaoh, "Your servants are shepherds,

both we and also our fathers."

4 (Ge 15:13; 46:34) They said to Pharaoh, 'We have come to sojourn in the land,

for your servants have no pasture for their flocks, because the famine is severe

in the land of Canaan. Now therefore, please allow your servants to dwell

in the land of Goshen.'

5 Pharaoh spoke to Joseph, saying,

"Your father and your brothers have come to you.

6 (Ge 47:11; Ex 18:21) The land of Egypt is before you. Have your father

and your brothers dwell in the best of the land. Have them dwell

in the land of Goshen, and if you know any capable men among them,

then put them in charge over my livestock."

7(Ge 47:10)Then Joseph brought in Jacob his father and presented him to Pharaoh,

and Jacob blessed Pharaoh.

8 Pharaoh said to Jacob, "How old are you?"

9 (Ge 35:28; 1Ch 29:15) And Jacob said to Pharaoh,

"The days of the years of my pilgrimage are one hundred and thirty years.

My days of the years of my life have been few and evil,

and they have not attained to the days of the years of the lives of my fathers

in the days of their pilgrimage."

10 (Ge 47:7) And Jacob blessed Pharaoh and went out from his presence.

11 (Ex 1:11; 12:37) So Joseph settled his father and his brothers

and gave them a possession in the land of Egypt,

in the best part of the land, in the land of Rameses,

as Pharaoh had commanded.

12 (Ge 45:11) Joseph provided food for his father, his brothers,

and his father's entire household, according to the number of their children.

Joseph and the Famine

13(Ac 7:11) There was no food in all the land, for the famine

was very severe, so that the land of Egypt and

all the land of Canaan languished because of the famine.

14 (Ge 41:56) Joseph gathered up all the money that was found

in the land of Egypt and in the land of Canaan for the grain that they bought,

and Joseph brought the money into Pharaoh's house.

15 When the money was all spent in the land of Egypt

and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came to Joseph

and said, "Give us food, for why should we die in your presence?

For our money is gone."

16 Joseph said, "Give your livestock, and I will give you food

for your livestock, if your money is gone."

17 They brought their livestock to Joseph, and Joseph gave them food

in exchange for the horses, the flocks, the herds, and the donkeys;

and he fed them with food in exchange for all their livestock for that year.

18 When that year was ended, they came to him the second year

and said to him, "We will not hide it from our lord, that our money is all spent.

Our lord also has our herds of livestock. There is nothing left in the sight

of my lord but our bodies and our lands.

19 (Ne 5:2-3) Why should we die before your eyes, both we and our land?

Buy us and our land for food, and we and our land will be slaves to Pharaoh.

Also give us seed, so that we may live and not die,

so that the land will not be desolate."

20 So Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh,

for every Egyptian man sold his field

because the famine was severe on them.

So the land became Pharaoh's.

21 As for the people, he removed them to cities

from one end of the borders of Egypt to the other end.

22 (Ezr 7:24) Only the land of the priests he did not buy;

for the priests had an allotment from Pharaoh,

and they lived off their allotment that Pharaoh gave them.

Therefore they did not sell their lands.

23 Then Joseph said to the people, "I have bought you and your land today

for Pharaoh; here is seed for you so you may sow the land.

24 (Ge 41:34) At the harvest, you must give a fifth part to Pharaoh

and four parts will be your own, as seed for the field and

for your food and for those of your households

and for food for your little ones."

25 (Ge 33:15) They said, "You have saved our lives.

Let us find grace in the sight of my lord,

and we will be Pharaoh's slaves."

26 (Ge 47:22) So Joseph made it a law over the land of Egypt to this day,

that Pharaoh should have the fifth part,

except from the land of the priests, which did not become Pharaoh's.

Jacob's Request of Joseph

27 (Ge 46:3; Ex 1:7) Israel lived in the land of Egypt,

in the land of Goshen, and they had possessions there

and grew and became very numerous.

28 And Jacob lived in the land of Egypt seventeen years,

so the years of Jacob's life were one hundred and forty-seven years.

29 (Ge 24:2; 24:49) When the time drew near when Israel would die,

he called his son Joseph and said to him, "If now I have found grace

in your sight, please put your hand under my thigh

and deal kindly and truly with me. Please do not bury me in Egypt,

30 (Ge 49:29-32; 23:19) but let me lie with my fathers.

Carry me out of Egypt and bury me in their burial place."

And he said, "I will do as you have said."

31(1Ki 1:47; Ge 24:3)And he said, "Swear to me," and he swore to him.

Then Israel bowed himself at the head of his bed.

Genesis 47

[1] Then Joseph came and told Pharaoh, and said, My father and my brethren,

and their flocks, and their herds, and all that they have, are come out of

the land of Canaan; and, behold, they are in the land of Goshen.

[2] And he took some of his brethren, even five men, and presented them unto

Pharaoh.

[3] And Pharaoh said unto his brethren, What is your occupation? And they

said unto Pharaoh, Thy servants are shepherds, both we, and also our

fathers.

[4] They said moreover unto Pharaoh, For to sojourn in the land are we come;

for thy servants have no pasture for their flocks; for the famine is sore in

the land of Canaan: now therefore, we pray thee, let thy servants dwell in

the land of Goshen.

[5] And Pharaoh spake unto Joseph, saying, Thy father and thy brethren are

come unto thee:

[6] The land of Egypt is before thee; in the best of the land make thy

father and brethren to dwell; in the land of Goshen let them dwell: and if

thou knowest any men of activity among them, then make them rulers over my

cattle.

[7] And Joseph brought in Jacob his father, and set him before Pharaoh: and

Jacob blessed Pharaoh.

[8] And Pharaoh said unto Jacob, How old art thou?

[9] And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, The days of the years of my pilgrimage are

an hundred and thirty years: few and evil have the days of the years of my

life been, and have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of

my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.

[10] And Jacob blessed Pharaoh, and went out from before Pharaoh.

[11] And Joseph placed his father and his brethren, and gave them a

possession in the land of Egypt, in the best of the land, in the land of

Rameses, as Pharaoh had commanded.

[12] And Joseph nourished his father, and his brethren, and all his father's

household, with bread, according to their families.

[13] And there was no bread in all the land; for the famine was very sore,

so that the land of Egypt and all the land of Canaan fainted by reason of

the famine.

[14] And Joseph gathered up all the money that was found in the land of

Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, for the corn which they bought: and Joseph

brought the money into Pharaoh's house.

[15] And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan,

all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should

we die in thy presence? for the money faileth.

[16] And Joseph said, Give your cattle; and I will give you for your cattle,

if money fail.

[17] And they brought their cattle unto Joseph: and Joseph gave them bread

in exchange for horses, and for the flocks, and for the cattle of the herds,

and for the asses: and he fed them with bread for all their cattle for that

year.

[18] When that year was ended, they came unto him the second year, and said

unto him, We will not hide it from my lord, how that our money is spent; my

lord also hath our herds of cattle; there is not ought left in the sight of

my lord, but our bodies, and our lands:

[19] Wherefore shall we die before thine eyes, both we and our land? buy us

and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants unto Pharaoh:

and give us seed, that we may live, and not die, that the land be not

desolate.

[20] And Joseph bought all the land of Egypt for Pharaoh; for the Egyptians

sold every man his field, because the famine prevailed over them: so the

land became Pharaoh's.

[21] And as for the people, he removed them to cities from one end of the

borders of Egypt even to the other end thereof.

[22] Only the land of the priests bought he not; for the priests had a

portion assigned them of Pharaoh, and did eat their portion which Pharaoh

gave them: wherefore they sold not their lands.

[23] Then Joseph said unto the people, Behold, I have bought you this day

and your land for Pharaoh: lo, here is seed for you, and ye shall sow the

land.

[24] And it shall come to pass in the increase, that ye shall give the fifth

part unto Pharaoh, and four parts shall be your own, for seed of the field,

and for your food, and for them of your households, and for food for your

little ones.

[25] And they said, Thou hast saved our lives: let us find grace in the

sight of my lord, and we will be Pharaoh's servants.

[26] And Joseph made it a law over the land of Egypt unto this day, that

Pharaoh should have the fifth part; except the land of the priests only,

which became not Pharaoh's.

[27] And Israel dwelt in the land of Egypt, in the country of Goshen; and

they had possessions therein, and grew, and multiplied exceedingly.

[28] And Jacob lived in the land of Egypt seventeen years: so the whole age

of Jacob was an hundred forty and seven years.

[29] And the time drew nigh that Israel must die: and he called his son

Joseph, and said unto him, If now I have found grace in thy sight, put, I

pray thee, thy hand under my thigh, and deal kindly and truly with me; bury

me not, I pray thee, in Egypt:

[30] But I will lie with my fathers, and thou shalt carry me out of Egypt,

and bury me in their buryingplace. And he said, I will do as thou hast said.

[31] And he said, Swear unto me. And he sware unto him. And Israel bowed

himself upon the bed's head.

Jeremiah 17:5-8

5 (2Ch 32:8; Isa 2:22) Thus says the Lord:

Cursed is the man who trusts in man

and makes flesh his strength,

and whose heart departs from the Lord.

6 (Dt 29:23; Jer 48:6) For he will be like a bush in the desert

and will not see when good comes,

but will inhabit the parched places in the wilderness,

in a salt land and not inhabited.

7 (Ps 34:8; 2:12) Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,

and whose hope is the Lord.

8 (Ps 1:3; Eze 47:12) For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters,

and that spreads out its roots by the river,

and shall not fear when heat comes,

but its leaf shall be green,

and it shall not be anxious in the year of drought,

neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

5 Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man,

and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see

when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places

in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.

7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope

the LORD is.

8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth

out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh,

but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year

of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

The baby wasn't due for another six weeks, but the doctor had just diagnosed

Whitney with cholestasis, a liver condition common in pregnancy. In a

whirlwind of emotions, Whitney was taken to the hospital where she received

treatment and was told her baby would be induced in 24 hours! In another part

of the hospital, ventilators and other equipment needed for the onslaught

of COVID-19 cases were being put into place. As a result, Whitney was sent

home. She made the decision to trust God and His plans,

and she delivered a healthy baby a few days later.

When Scripture takes root in us, it transforms the way we react

in trying situations. Jeremiah lived in a time when most of society

trusted in human alliances, and the worship of idols was prevalent.

The prophet contrasts the person who "draws strength from mere flesh

and whose heart turns away from the Lord" (Jeremiah 17:5) with the one

who trusts in God. "Blessed is the one . . . whose confidence is in him.

They will be like a tree planted by the water that . . . does not fear

when heat comes; its leaves are always green" (vv. 7-8).

As believers in Jesus, we're called to live by faith as we look to Him

for solutions. As He provides the strength, we can choose to fear

or to trust Him. God says we're blessed-fully satisfied-when we choose

to place our trust in Him.

Reflect & Pray

When have you felt worried or afraid and then were reminded of God's

promise to bless those who trust Him? How has the realization that you

can trust God in all circumstances brought you relief?

Dear God, thank You that I can trust You in all

situations and come to You in prayer. You're right there

in the midst of my struggles, and You give me strength.

Week 3 - Saved Now and forever Day 6 - Eternal Life, Beginning now

John 10:28 - I give them eternal life. They shall never perish,

nor shall anyone snatch them from My hand.

28 and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish,

neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

In C.S. Lewis's The Great Divorce, one of the Spirits in heaven, identifying

himself as George MacDonald, makes some startling statements on the nature of

eternal life. Depending upon the individual's choice for or against Christ,

MacDonald says, everything in life takes on the character of haven or hell.

"At the end of ALL THINGS, when the sun rises here (in heaven) and the twilight

turns to blackness down there, the Blessed will say, 'We have never lived

anywhere except in Heaven,' and the Lost, 'We were always in Hell.'

And both will speak truly" - From the Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis.

Lewis was not trying to make a theological case, but to demonstrate

a principle: eternal life begins now.

The choices that we make for or against obedience to God, the life we live,

the patterns we establish, all move us in one direction of the other.

And when we have decided to choose obedience to God (the forsakeness of sin),

when we give ourselves fully into his hands, he is able to take the worst of

circumstances and redeem them for our good, use them to mature us in his image.

Again Jesus says in John 10:28

"I give them eternal life. They shall never perish,

nor shall anyone snatch them from My hand. "

In Christ is a very secure place to be. No experience is lost, no pain is

wasted. Everything in our lives is redeemed by God for our benefit.

Application

a) How have I experienced the truth that "eternal life begins now"?

b) How can this verse help me put life in perspective during times

of stress and anxiety?

Proverbs 10:22

22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich,

And he addeth no sorrow with it.

5) From a Book called God's Promises for you:

When you are Saddened by Loss

1 Cor 15:35-38,51-57

35 But someone will say, "How are the dead raised up?

With what body do they come?"

36 You fool! What you sow is not made alive unless it dies.

37 When you sow, you do not sow the body that shall be, but a bare kernel,

perhaps of wheat or of some other grain.

38 Then God gives it a body as He pleases, and to each seed its own body.

51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall

all be changed.

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet,

for the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised incorruptible,

and we shall be changed.

53 For tis corruptible will put on incorruption,

and this mortal will put on immortality.

54 When this corruptible will have put on incorruption,

and this mortal will have put on immortality,

then the saying that is written shall come to pass:

"Death is swallowed up in victory."

55 "O death, where is your sting?

O grave, where is your victory?"

56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.

57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through

our Lord Jesus Christ!

35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up?

and with what body do they come?

36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:

37 and that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be,

but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:

38 but God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him,

and to every seed his own body.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall

all be changed,

52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump:

for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible,

and we shall be changed.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption,

and this mortal must put on immortality.

54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption,

and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought

to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through

our Lord Jesus Christ.

Remember God's promises when You pray

The Lord's prayer

Matthew 6:9-13

9 "Therefore pray in this manner:

Our Father who is in heaven,

hallowed be Your name.

10 (Mt 3:2; 4:17) Your kingdom come;

Your will be done

on earth, as it is in heaven.

11 (Pr 30:8; Isa 33:16) Give us this day our daily bread.

12 (Ex 34:7; Ps 32:1) And forgive us our debts,

as we forgive our debtors.

13 (1Co 10:13; Jn 17:15) And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen."

9 After this manner therefore pray ye:

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:

For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

6) This come from Praying for Muslims in Canada 2015 (Is there a 2021 edition?)

2015 Population - 4631302 Muslims about 136493

British Columbia - British Columbia's Muslim Population is growing constantly.

Every week there are immigrants ad refugees coming to the Greater Vancouver

and surrounding areas. There are also significant Muslim student populations

in our colleges and universities. Some have even suggested that there are

between 4000 and 5000 Saudi Arabian students alone, without counting all

other nationalities.

Greater Vancouver has an estimated 180000 Muslims, and there are significant

and growing communities in the Fraser Valley such as in Langley, Abbotsford,

Chilliwack, etc. Including these communities the total population for this

region is about 200000.

Of these, there are an estimated 100000 Iranians, 35000 Arabs, 15000 Ismailis,

more than 20000 Afghanis, 10000 South Asian Muslims, 3000 Turks, and small

numbers from other countries such as Sudan, Somalia, Albania, etc.

We are seeing some Muslims coming to Christ and we rejoice in that.

A few people also have some ongoing ministry to Muslims in the area,

for which we also rejoice. Let us agree in that

- the church will catch a vision to pray,

and a burden to train outreach to Muslims

- the church will press in to participate in effective

discipleship of these new Muslim background believers.

Adding further

30 days of prayer for the Muslim World 24 April to 23 May 2020

Under the Keep Praying page

When the new moon is sighted it marks the beginning of t he new Islamic month

and Eid al-Fitr, the "Festival of Breaking the Fast", will start! After 30 days

of fasting, the Eid celebration at the end of Ramadan is a joyful time that

usually lasts about 3 days. Muslims will buy new clothes, exchange gifts and,

of course, enjoy special foods. In Muslim-majority nations, the streets may be

decorated and festivals will be held.

For many Muslims, Eid-al-Fitr begins with communal prayers at daybreak and the

distribution of money (zakat) to the poor, which is one of the 5 pillars of

Islam.

You can greet Muslim friends during this time by saying "Eid Mubarak",

which means Blessed Eid!"

Ramadan is over for this year, but you can continue to pray for Muslims you

know, and Muslims around the world:

- Despite the unsettling developments in our world today that involve actions

in the name of Islam, there is at the same time a largely untold story about

unprecedented movement to Christ among Muslims. There have been more such

movements of thousands or more new disciples among Muslims in the last three

decades or so than in all the previous history of Christian Muslim

relationships! Pray for this momentum to continue.

Acts 2:12-17 : 17 "In the last days it shall be," says God,

"that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;

your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,

your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

18 Even on My menservants and maidservants

I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy.

19 And I will show wonders in heaven above and signs on the earth below:

blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke. 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness,

and the moon into blood, before that great and glorious day of the Lord comes.

21 And whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."[a]

Footnotes

Acts 2:21 Joel 2:28-32.

- Pray for Christian workers an organisations focused on seeing effective

discipleship movements among Muslim people.

- Ask the Holy Spirit to continue to inspire you to have god's heart for

Muslims, to see them as He does, and to be the light that then to Jesus.

Matthew 5:14-15 : 14 "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a

hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do men light a candle and put it under

a basket, but on a candlestick. And it gives light to all who are in the

house."

Ideas for prayer

- Pray for opportunities to show the love of Christ to Muslims around you

- Pray for, and offer generous hospitality to, those you know who are serving

Christ among Muslim people -

Romans 12:13 "contribute to the needs of the saints, practice hospitality."

- When you gather with fellow believers, remember to pray for Muslims

throughout the year and encourage them to also participate in 30 Days!

My paternal side is of Muslim heritage and will offer this section to further

call for Muslim converts to Christian and any other converts to Christianity

(Hindus, Jews, aboriginals Canadian, ...) .
