Day 9 of the 2nd Bible Study Journey - 9 Jan 2022 reflections

Day 9, 9 January 2022

Today at https://www.calvarycomuunity.ca , we start the Alpha Series.

Thought:

John 14:1-7

Jesus the Way to the Father

1 (Jn 12:44; 16:22-23) "Let not your heart be troubled.

You believe in God. Believe also in Me.

2 (Jn 13:33; 13:36) In My Father's house are many dwelling places.

If it were not so, I would have told you.

I am going to prepare a place for you.

3 (Jn 12:26; 14:28) And if I go and prepare a place for you,

I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am,

you may be also.

4 You know where I am going, and you know the way."

5 (Jn 11:16) Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going.

How can we know the way?"

6 (Jn 10:9; 1:14; Ac 4:12) Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth,

and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

7 (Jn 8:19) If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also.

From now on you do know Him and have seen Him."

John 14

1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would

have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again,

and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest;

and how can we know the way?

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:

no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also:

and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

1) Job 25-28

Job 25

Bildad Speaks: Man Cannot Be Righteous

1 Then Bildad the Shuhite answered:

2 "Dominion and fear are with Him;

He makes peace in His high places.

3 (Jas 1:17; Mt 5:45) Is there any number to His armies?

And upon whom does His light not rise?

4 (Job 9:2; 4:17-19) How then can man be righteous with God?

Or how can he who is born of a woman be clean?

5 Behold, even the moon does not shine,

and the stars are not pure in His sight;

6 (Ps 22:6; Isa 41:14) how much less man, who is a maggot?

And the son of man, who is a worm?"

Job 25

Bildad's Speech

1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,

2 Dominion and fear are with him,

He maketh peace in his high places.

3 Is there any number of his armies?

And upon whom doth not his light arise?

4 How then can man be justified with God?

Or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?

5 Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not;

Yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.

6 How much less man, that is a worm?

And the son of man, which is a worm?

(Man is sinful, yes, but the Lord makes a way)

Job 26

Job Replies: God's Majesty Is Unsearchable

1 But Job answered:

2 "How have you helped him who is without power?

How have you saved the arm that has no strength?

3 How have you counseled him who has no wisdom?

And how have you plentifully declared sound knowledge?

4 To whom have you uttered words?

And whose breath came from you?

5 (Ge 6:4; Ps 88:10) "The departed spirits tremble under the waters,

and their inhabitants.

6 (Ps 139:8; Pr 15:11) The underworld is naked before Him,

and destruction has no covering.

7 (Job 9:8; Ge 1:1-2) He stretches out the north over empty space,

He hangs the earth upon nothing.

8 (Pr 30:4) He binds up the waters in His thick clouds,

and the cloud is not broken under them.

9 (Ps 97:2) He covers the face of the full moon

and spreads His cloud over it.

10 (Job 38:8-11; Pr 8:29) He has circled the waters with boundaries,

until the day and night come to an end.

11 The pillars of heaven tremble

and are astonished at His reproof.

12 (Isa 51:15; Jer 31:35) He divides the sea with His power,

and by His understanding He strikes through the proud.

13 (Isa 27:1; Ge 1:2) By His breath He has made fair the heavens;

His hand has formed the fleeing serpent.

14 Indeed, these are but a part of His ways,

and how small a whisper we hear of Him!

But the thunder of His power who can understand?"

Job's Reply

1 But Job answered and said,

2 How hast thou helped him that is without power?

How savest thou the arm that hath no strength?

3 How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom?

And how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?

4 To whom hast thou uttered words?

And whose spirit came from thee?

5 Dead things are formed

From under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.

6 Hell is naked before him,

And destruction hath no covering.

7 He stretcheth out the north over the empty place,

And hangeth the earth upon nothing.

8 He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds;

And the cloud is not rent under them.

9 He holdeth back the face of his throne,

And spreadeth his cloud upon it.

10 He hath compassed the waters with bounds,

Until the day and night come to an end.

11 The pillars of heaven tremble

And are astonished at his reproof.

12 He divideth the sea with his power,

And by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.

13 By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens;

His hand hath formed the crooked serpent.

14 Lo, these are parts of his ways:

But how little a portion is heard of him?

But the thunder of his power who can understand?

Job 27

Job's Last Words to His Friends

1 (Nu 23:7; Job 29:1)Moreover Job continued his discourse:

2 (Job 34:5; 2Ki 4:27) "As God lives, who has taken away my judgment,

and the Almighty, who has made my soul bitter,

3 (Ge 2:7; Job 33:4) all the while my spirit is in me,

and the breath of God is in my nostrils,

4 (Job 13:7) my lips will not speak wickedness,

nor my tongue utter deceit.

5 (Job 2:9; 13:15) God forbid that I should justify you.

Until I die I will not put away my integrity from me.

6 (Job 2:3; Ac 24:16) My righteousness I hold fast and will not let it go;

my heart will not reproach me as long as I live.

7 "Let my enemy be like the wicked,

and he who rises up against me like the unrighteous.

8 (Job 11:20; 8:13) For what is the hope of the hypocrite,

though he may gain much, when God takes away his soul?

9 (Pr 1:28; Isa 1:15) Will God hear his cry

when trouble comes upon him?

10 (Job 22:26-27; Ps 37:4) Will he delight himself in the Almighty?

Will he always call upon God?

11 "I will teach you about the hand of God;

what is with the Almighty I will not conceal.

12 Look, all of you have seen it;

why then have you become altogether vain?

13 "This is the portion of a wicked man with God,

and the inheritance that oppressors receive from the Almighty:

14 (Dt 28:41) If his children are multiplied, it is for the sword,

and his offspring will not be satisfied with bread.

15 (Ps 78:64) Those who survive him will be buried in death,

and their widows will not weep.

16 (Zec 9:3) Though he heaps up silver like the dust

and piles up clothing like the clay,

17 (Ecc 2:26; Pr 13:22) he may pile it up, but the just will wear it,

and the innocent will divide the silver.

18 (Job 8:14-15; Isa 1:8) He builds his house like a moth,

and like a booth that the watchman makes.

19 (Job 24:24; Jer 8:2) The rich man will lie down, but he will not be gathered;

he opens his eyes, and he is not.

20 (Job 15:21; 18:11) Terrors overtake him like floodwaters;

a tempest steals him away in the night.

21 The east wind carries him away, and he departs;

it sweeps him out of his place.

22 For God will cast it upon him and not spare;

he would flee from its power.

23 (La 2:15; Zep 2:15) Men will clap their hands at him

and will hiss him out of his place.

Job 27

1 Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,

2 As God liveth, who hath taken away my judgment;

And the Almighty, who hath vexed my soul;

3 All the while my breath is in me,

And the spirit of God is in my nostrils;

4 My lips shall not speak wickedness,

Nor my tongue utter deceit.

5 God forbid that I should justify you:

Till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me.

6 My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go:

My heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.

7 Let mine enemy be as the wicked,

And he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous.

8 For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he hath gained,

When God taketh away his soul?

9 Will God hear his cry

When trouble cometh upon him?

10 Will he delight himself in the Almighty?

Will he always call upon God?

11 I will teach you by the hand of God:

That which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.

12 Behold, all ye yourselves have seen it;

Why then are ye thus altogether vain?

13 This is the portion of a wicked man with God,

And the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty.

14 If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword:

And his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.

15 Those that remain of him shall be buried in death:

And his widows shall not weep.

16 Though he heap up silver as the dust,

And prepare raiment as the clay;

17 He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on,

And the innocent shall divide the silver.

18 He buildeth his house as a moth,

And as a booth that the keeper maketh.

19 The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered:

He openeth his eyes, and he is not.

20 Terrors take hold on him as waters,

A tempest stealeth him away in the night.

21 The east wind carrieth him away, and he departeth:

And as a storm hurleth him out of his place.

22 For God shall cast upon him, and not spare:

He would fain flee out of his hand.

23 Men shall clap their hands at him,

And shall hiss him out of his place.

Job 28

Interlude: Where Wisdom Is Found

1 "Surely there is a mine for the silver,

and a place where they refine gold.

2 (Dt 8:9) Iron is taken out of the earth,

and copper is smelted from the ore.

3 (Ecc 1:13) Man puts an end to darkness,

and searches every extremity

for ore in the darkness and the shadow of death.

4 He breaks open a shaft away from the inhabitants;

in places forgotten by feet

they hang far away from men; and they totter.

5 As for the earth, from it comes bread,

and underneath it is turned up as by fire.

6 (Ex 24:10) Its stones are the source of sapphires,

and it has dust of gold.

7 There is a path that no bird knows,

and that the vulture's eye has not seen;

8 the lion cubs have not trodden it,

nor has the fierce lion passed by it.

9 He puts forth his hand upon the rock;

he overturns the mountains by the roots.

10 He cuts out rivers among the rocks,

and his eye sees every precious thing.

11 He prevents the floods from overflowing,

and the thing that is hidden he brings forth to light.

12 (Job 28:28) "But where will wisdom be found?

And where is the place of understanding?

13 Man does not know its price,

nor is it found in the land of the living.

14 The depth says, 'It is not in me,'

and the sea says, 'It is not with me.'

15 (Pr 16:16; 8:10-11) It cannot be bought for gold,

nor can silver be weighed for its price.

16 (Ps 45:9; Isa 13:12) It cannot be valued in the gold of Ophir,

with the precious onyx or the sapphire.

17 The gold and the crystal cannot equal it,

and it cannot be exchanged for jewels of fine gold.

18 (Pr 3:15; 31:10) No mention will be made of coral or of pearls,

for the price of wisdom is above rubies.

19 (Ex 28:17; 39:10) The topaz of Ethiopia will not equal it,

nor will it be valued with pure gold.

20 "From where then does wisdom come?

And where is the place of understanding?

21 It is hidden from the eyes of all living

and concealed from the birds of the air.

22 (Job 26:6) Destruction and Death say,

'We have heard of its fame with our ears.'

23 (Pr 8:22-31) God understands its way,

and He knows its place.

24 (Pr 15:3; Zec 4:10) For He looks to the ends of the earth,

and sees under the whole heaven,

25 Ps 135:7 to make the weight of the wind,

and He weighs the waters by measure.

26 Job 38:25; 37:3 When He made a decree for the rain,

and a path for the lightning of the thunder,

27 then He saw it and declared it;

He prepared it, yes, and searched it out.

28 (Ps 111:10; Pr 1:7) To man He said:

'Look, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom;

And to depart from evil is understanding.' "

Job 28

1 Surely there is a vein for the silver,

And a place for gold where they fine it.

2 Iron is taken out of the earth,

And brass is molten out of the stone.

3 He setteth an end to darkness,

And searcheth out all perfection:

The stones of darkness, and the shadow of death.

4 The flood breaketh out from the inhabitant;

Even the waters forgotten of the foot:

They are dried up, they are gone away from men.

5 As for the earth, out of it cometh bread:

And under it is turned up as it were fire.

6 The stones of it are the place of sapphires:

And it hath dust of gold.

7 There is a path which no fowl knoweth,

And which the vulture's eye hath not seen:

8 The lion's whelps have not trodden it,

Nor the fierce lion passed by it.

9 He putteth forth his hand upon the rock;

He overturneth the mountains by the roots.

10 He cutteth out rivers among the rocks;

And his eye seeth every precious thing.

11 He bindeth the floods from overflowing;

And the thing that is hid bringeth he forth to light.

12 But where shall wisdom be found?

And where is the place of understanding?

13 Man knoweth not the price thereof;

Neither is it found in the land of the living.

14 The depth saith, It is not in me:

And the sea saith, It is not with me.

15 It cannot be gotten for gold,

Neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof.

16 It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir,

With the precious onyx, or the sapphire.

17 The gold and the crystal cannot equal it:

And the exchange of it shall not be for jewels of fine gold.

18 No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls:

For the price of wisdom is above rubies.

19 The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it,

Neither shall it be valued with pure gold.

20 Whence then cometh wisdom?

And where is the place of understanding?

21 Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living,

And kept close from the fowls of the air.

22 Destruction and death say,

We have heard the fame thereof with our ears.

23 God understandeth the way thereof,

And he knoweth the place thereof.

24 For he looketh to the ends of the earth,

And seeth under the whole heaven;

25 To make the weight for the winds;

And he weigheth the waters by measure.

26 When he made a decree for the rain,

And a way for the lightning of the thunder:

27 Then did he see it, and declare it;

He prepared it, yea, and searched it out.

28 And unto man he said,

Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom;

And to depart from evil is understanding.

entitled Washed

Titus 3:3-7

3 (Col 3:7) We also were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving

various desires and pleasures, living in evil and envy, filled with hatred

and hating each other.

4 (Titus 2:10-11) But when the kindness and the love of God our Saviour

toward mankind appeared,

5 (Ro 12:2; 1Pe 3:21) not by works of righteousness which we have done,

but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of rebirth

and the renewal of the Holy Spirit,

6 (Ro 5:5; Joel 2:28) whom He poured out on us abundantly through

Jesus Christ our Saviour,

7 (Ro 8:17; Titus 1:2) so that, being justified by His grace, we might

become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived,

serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful,

and hating one another.

4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,

5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his

mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy

Ghost;

6 which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

7 that being justified by his grace, we should

be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

My friend Bill described Gerard, an acquaintance of his, as being

"very far from God for a very long time." But one day, after Bill met

with Gerard and explained to him how God's love has provided the way

for us to be saved, Gerard became a believer in Jesus. Through tears,

he repented of his sin and gave his life to Christ. Afterward, Bill

asked Gerard how he felt. Wiping away tears, he answered simply, "Washed."

What an amazing response! That's precisely the essence of salvation made

possible through faith in Jesus' sacrifice for us on the cross.

In 1 Corinthians 6, after Paul gives examples of how disobedience

against God leads to separation from Him, he says, "That is what some

of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified

in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ" (v. 11). "Washed," "sanctified," "justified"-words that point to believers being forgiven

and made right with Him.

Titus 3:4-5 tells us more about this miraculous thing called salvation.

“God our Savior . . . not by works of righteousness which we have done,

but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of rebirth

and the renewal of the Holy Spirit,” Our sin keeps us from God,

but through faith in Jesus, sin's penalty is washed away.

We become new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17), gain access

to our heavenly Father (Ephesians 2:18), and are made clean (1 John 1:7).

He alone provides what we need to be washed.

Reflect & Pray

Why is it vital for you to be washed and sanctified by Jesus? What has it

meant or what will it mean for you to put your faith in Him?

Dear Jesus, I know I've sinned against You.

And I realize that the penalty for my sin is separation from You.

Thank You for the salvation You've made possible

and for drawing me close to You forever.

Words in Season Scripture Memory Tools

Week 1 Knowing God's Word Day 1 - God's Perspective

Philip 4:13

13 (2Co 12:9-10; Eph 3:16) I can do all things because

of Christ who strengthens me.

13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Many of us live out self-fulfilling prophecies. We believe

what we tell ourselves - or what we have been told by others:

"You're stupid", "You're ugly", "You'll never amount to anything,"

"You can't do anything right."

We programme ourselves for spiritual failure as well.

"I just can't memorise Scripture," we say. "It comes and goes,

and I can't seem to get it to stay." Yet daily we memorise

volumes of information that is less significant than the

Scriptures - telephone numbers, identification codes,

songs lyrics, advertising jingles.

The answer to the dilemma of negativism is not positive

thinking, but right thinking - biblical thinking, according

to what the Bible reveals of God's perspective. God says,

"You are worthwhile. You are valued. You are loved. I created you

just as you are, and whatever I call you to do,

I will give you the strength to do it.

The context of Phillipians 4:13 shows that Paul had learned

this important secret of spiritual strength. Paul had known

poverty and plenty, trouble and victory. But he also knew

he did not have to let circumstances determine his response to God's will.

We need not be controlled by the negative messages life throws in our paths

- even those self-defeating pronouncements we make to ourselves.

Rather, we can respond according to God's perspective, with the

conviction that God has given us strength we need to meet the

challenges we face.

Application

a) What challenges do I face that make me realise my own insufficiencies?

IS memorising Scripture one of those challenges for me?

b) How does today's memory verse help me face those challenges?

4) From Prosperity Promises - Kenneth Copeland

Luke 7:23

God's Guiding Presence

Matthew 28:16-20

The Commissioning of the Disciples

Mk 16:14-18; Lk 24:36-49; Jn 20:19-23; Ac 1:6-8

16 (Mt 28:7; 26:32)Then the eleven disciples went away to Galilee,

to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them.

17 (Mt 28:9) When they saw Him, they worshipped Him. But some doubted.

18 (Mt 11:27; Ro 14:9) Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying,

"All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

19 (Mk 16:15-16; Ac 1:8) Go therefore and make disciples of all nations,

baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son

and of the Holy Spirit,

20 (Mt 18:20; Ac 2:42) teaching them to observe all things

I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always,

even to the end of the age." Amen.

16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee,

into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.

17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying,

All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name

of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20 teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:

and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Remember God's promises when You pray

The Lord's prayer

Matthew 6:9-13

9 "Therefore pray in this manner:

Our Father who is in heaven,

hallowed be Your name.

10 (Mt 3:2; 4:17) Your kingdom come;

Your will be done

on earth, as it is in heaven.

11 (Pr 30:8; Isa 33:16) Give us this day our daily bread.

12 (Ex 34:7; Ps 32:1) And forgive us our debts,

as we forgive our debtors.

13 (1Co 10:13; Jn 17:15) And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen."

9 After this manner therefore pray ye:

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:

For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

6) This come from Praying for Muslims in Canada 2015 (Is there a 2021 edition?)

2015 Population - 4631302 Muslims about 136493

British Columbia - British Columbia's Muslim Population is growing constantly.

Every week there are immigrants ad refugees coming to the Greater Vancouver

and surrounding areas. There are also significant Muslim student populations

in our colleges and universities. Some have even suggested that there are

between 4000 and 5000 Saudi Arabian students alone, without counting all

other nationalities.

Greater Vancouver has an estimated 180000 Muslims, and there are significant

and growing communities in the Fraser Valley such as in Langley, Abbotsford,

Chilliwack, etc. Including these communities the total population for this

region is about 200000.

Of these, there are an estimated 100000 Iranians, 35000 Arabs, 15000 Ismailis,

more than 20000 Afghanis, 10000 South Asian Muslims, 3000 Turks, and small

numbers from other countries such as Sudan, Somalia, Albania, etc.

We are seeing some Muslims coming to Christ and we rejoice in that.

A few people also have some ongoing ministry to Muslims in the area,

for which we also rejoice. Let us agree in that

- the church will catch a vision to pray,

and a burden to train outreach to Muslims

- the church will press in to participate in effective

discipleship of these new Muslim background believers.

30 days of prayer for the Muslim World 24 April to 23 May 2020

Under the Keep Praying page

When the new moon is sighted it marks the beginning of t he new Islamic month

and Eid al-Fitr, the "Festival of Breaking the Fast", will start! After 30 days

of fasting, the Eid celebration at the end of Ramadan is a joyful time that

usually lasts about 3 days. Muslims will buy new clothes, exchange gifts and,

of course, enjoy special foods. In Muslim-majority nations, the streets may be

decorated and festivals will be held.

For many Muslims, Eid-al-Fitr begins with communal prayers at daybreak and the

distribution of money (zakat) to the poor, which is one of the 5 pillars of

Islam.

You can greet Muslim friends during this time by saying "Eid Mubarak",

which means Blessed Eid!"

Ramadan is over for this year, but you can continue to pray for Muslims you

know, and Muslims around the world:

- Despite the unsettling developments in our world today that involve actions

in the name of Islam, there is at the same time a largely untold story about

unprecedented movement to Christ among Muslims. There have been more such

movements of thousands or more new disciples among Muslims in the last three

decades or so than in all the previous history of Christian Muslim

relationships! Pray for this momentum to continue.

Acts 2:12-17 : 17 "In the last days it shall be," says God,

"that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;

your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,

your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

18 Even on My menservants and maidservants

I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy.

19 And I will show wonders in heaven above and signs on the earth below:

blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke. 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness,

and the moon into blood, before that great and glorious day of the Lord comes.

21 And whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."[a]

Footnotes

Acts 2:21 Joel 2:28-32.

- Pray for Christian workers an organisations focused on seeing effective

discipleship movements among Muslim people.

- Ask the Holy Spirit to continue to inspire you to have god's heart for

Muslims, to see them as He does, and to be the light that then to Jesus.

hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do men light a candle and put it under

a basket, but on a candlestick. And it gives light to all who are in the

house."

Ideas for prayer

- Pray for opportunities to show the love of Christ to Muslims around you

- Pray for, and offer generous hospitality to, those you know who are serving

Christ among Muslim people -

Romans 12:13 "contribute to the needs of the saints, practice hospitality."

- When you gather with fellow believers, remember to pray for Muslims

throughout the year and encourage them to also participate in 30 Days!

My paternal side is of Muslim heritage and will offer this section to further

call for Muslim converts to Christian and any other converts to Christianity

(Hindus, Jews, aboriginals Canadian, ...) .

DEVOTION:

Sometimes we believe that we need to be a perfect person of prayer

to be useful.

You don’t need to have the right spiritual language; you don't need

to say the perfect prayer. What is needed is YOU! Someone willing

to enter into a conversation with God, saying "I am willing".

God the Father will release the work of Jesus through our prayers.

REFLECTION:

He wants our prayers because He has chosen to do much

of His work on earth through the church and His children.

What is God calling me to pray about?

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, I'm so glad I don't have to say the right thing

to get your attention, to make you hear my prayers. Thank you

for your Spirit who lives in me and leads me in my daily activities,

and also in my prayers.

I ask you to help me to know how to pray. Please show me verses

that you want me to pray so I can see your word come alive

in my life and in all my circumstances. I pray that I will

be sensitive to your voice and know it when I hear it.

In Jesus' powerful name. Amen.

Conclusion:

Pray to the Lord for He is The Truth , the Way and the Light.

Pray to the Lord and pray to search His wisdom.

Pray to the Lord

"Dear Jesus, I know I've sinned against You.

And I realize that the penalty for my sin is separation from You.

Thank You for the salvation You've made possible

and for drawing me close to You forever."

Pray to the Lord and pray for Him to help you memorise and live The Word.

Pray to the Lord and pray not to be an offensive witness.

Pray to the Lord and pray to make disciples in your witness.

Pray the church in BC will catch a vision to pray,

and a burden to train outreach to Muslims

Pray the church in BC will press in to participate in effective

discipleship of these new Muslim background believers.
