  - 	Test for moisture at several locations in the room. 
- Wooden subfloor moisture test should not exceed 12% and the difference between your subfloor boards should be less than 2% to 4% depending on the width of the board.
- 	A high reading in one area indicates a problem that must be addressed.
-  Pay extra attention to exterior and plumbing walls 
Moisture testing concrete
      
  
  - 	Before moisture testing begins the concrete must be cured for a minimum of 30 to 60 days.
- 	Test for moisture at several locations in the room.
- 	Use a moisture meter designed specifically for concrete.
- 	Three types of moisture testing are Qualitative moisture test (moisture meter), Quantitative Moisture test (using probes) and Calcium Chloride test.
- 	Various sealers are available to help control excessive moisture.
- 	A high reading in one area indicates a problem that must be addressed.
