We will miss Henry and his departure was classy.
Look it up at http://www.arsenal.com .
And that is where it ends. I have no respect for
a cheat organization called Barcelona.

8/10 (It would have been 6/10 if I did not
remember something about the TARDIS and
the Doctor's relation with Queen Elizabeth I).
Gareth Roberts is one interesting writer.
Opening, a star crossed lover mean a
sopposedly single lady only
to be swallowed by her 2 mothers
(RTD's contribution).
Back in the TARDIS , the Doctor tries
to get the TARDIS under control and
ends up in London 1599.
Yes, The Doctor takes Martha to
the Globe Theatre, but
when did England end up contacting
Africa and even they were they
were slaves. I doubt a coloured face
would be seen in the Globe Theatre
in 1599 or a female,
but I digress.
The Doctor and Martha stay around for the
new Love's Labour Won (Huh??).
The Doctor and Martha meets Shakespeare
and William Shakespeare is smithenned by
Martha. (Queen of Afric?)
Political correctness and scripting gone nutters.
MYstery abounds. The censor of plays
dies a drowning death and the Doctor gets
curious. A witch does appear to
puppet up Shakespeare for the last part
of Love Labour's Won.
Is it fortuious that the maid comes around only to see
an ugly witch?
Good Device and linking used here.
The Doctor and Martha is trying to link
recent events and why Shakespeare is
the center point.
First stop the Globe Theatre and why is the
number14 significant to the Doctor.
The answer lies with Peter Street the architect.
The Doctor Rose and Shakespeare arrives in Bedlam,
Bethlem Hospital/Sanitorium, and the witches are
tipped off.
One of the Mother's arrives to silence Peter
only to let the Doctor discover which race
these witches come from, the Carrelons.
The Doctor Rose and Shakespeare devise
a plan to stop the Carrelons from
carrying out their plan.
The Doctor and Martha goes to Harlow Street
and Shakespeare is to stop the play.
The Doctor does have to
explain why stoppoing the
witch is important, hence the
Back to the Future comparison
(Too bad it could not be like Pyramids of Mars).
Only one Carreon at Harlow Street,
(She was blond enough to think the Doctor human)
while the other 2 are at the theatre.
The Battleground is the Globe
Theatre. Shakespeare is knocked
out and only when the
Doctor arrives does the battle
begin.
Shakespeare and the Doctor saves
the day on improvisation.
The Doctor and Rose are ready
to say goodbye the next morning
only to see HM Queen Elizabeth I.
Please recall that this could be the REal Queen
(Season One does explain why the Doctor
needed to get back in the tower) or
a fake (someone who knows the Doctor
and is pretending to be Queen Elizabeth I).
On to Gridlock.

8/10.
FRom Doomsday you wonder where the bride came in?
You know how, but not yet why.
Catherine Tate plays a good nag. She is a woman to meet!
Donna the Bride and the Doctor is an interesting match.
She bickers and complains until she opens the Door.
Please note in Planert of Giants, the TARDIS with doors
open in a bad idea and the Doctor could have used his screen to look
outside.
Still we see the persistence and the 'thickness' of the bride.
Back to Earth, the Doctor wonders why he missed the mark and
Donna is saying huh?! what is this box?
Still one has to remind RTD that Londoners are not that
lewd-rude.
So the Doctor goes to get money and Donna a phone call.
The next Cab the Doctor notes the assassin and
te other Assassins on the square.
The Doctor has to rescue Donna in a motorway chase.
Still the Doctor is trying to solve why Donna ended up
in the TARDIS . Questioning her at the Heliport,
Donna remembers her reception.
The Bride is 'mad' about going ahead with the reception
without her.
The Doctor takes time to research the company Donna
and her groom Lance work for and
checks the video on the disappearing Bride.
The Doctor realizes that Donna is contaminated with
huon energy and she can be traced.
The Doctor decide to check on uninvited guests and
surely enough, here come the Santa Assassins!
The Doctor remembers from last Christmas, that the
trees were the weapons of chioce; this time ist is the
bulbs.
The Doctor does neutralize the threat and finds a
signal
back into space.
Enter the real villain the Empress.
The Doctor , Lance and Donna make it back to the Torchwood owned
offices and looks for further clues. A hidden
floor is found. The Doctor then find a Torchwood label
with London Barrier and a lab with huon Energy.
Suddenly a secret passage opens,
with a hole burrowed to the middle of the Earth
(Huh anyone recalls Inferno?) and Lance is 'running'.
The villain appears and the Doctor identifies her as an
Arachnoid Empress.
Lance turns out to be the person who induced Donna with the
Huon particles and turns traitor.
So all these checmicals we are digesting, are they good for us?
Still the Doctor uses the Huon energy to protect Donna
and travels back in time with Donna. Lance is the person
the Empress want to be a key.
The Doctor and Donna finds at the center of the Earth
is another 'spider ship'.
Is this similar to the Jageroth?
Still the final battle is to be played out.
Back to Earth and the Doctor has to play it
with the foe.
The Empress gets hold of her key call Donna
and the doctor has to engage wits with the empress.
The Empresses ships as comes into London skies.
With huon energy emptied to the middle of the Earth,
Lance is fed to the 'children' and the fight is on.
The Doctor floods the children and tanks under
the order of Mr Saxon destroys the ship.
Ending is better than last year.
And RTD you mocking statement against the Star
of Bethlehem is not funny.

7/10 .
Was the focus on the Doctor or on MArtha Jones? Tough to tell.
Semi-Dysfunctional family agreed. And the Doctor crashing into
Jones, interesting play. Still Martha getting shocked all
over while going to work. By the way, cell phones in a
hospital?? Come on!! The 2 patients is an interesting angle.
Raining upwards, all right RTD 9/10 for imagination.
Shift to moon scenes. Nice to see the Judoon,
rhino Sontaranish Police in space and then a bit.
Still chase scenes, zap'em-ups and then agains.
It is getting to be repeticious.
I like it when Martha does get in the way
and you find your villain. Countdown to
Death and the Doctor save everything in
the Hospital is back where it is.
Still the party is on, but MArtha is not interested.
The Doctor picks her up and off they go.
They need a 2-part to open the season!

9/10 both parts 8.5/10
RTD written, but Graeme Harper as director makes everything a classic.
The opener with Rose on a beach. This is explained towards the end.
Still Daleks coming in and Sucking the intelligence out of Dr Singh.
Beware Void ships.
UGH and husking him. Cybermen getting ready to take on Daleks.
Cybermen upgrade most of Torchwood.
Nice to see the debate about Cybermen vs Daleks maybe solved.
This comes from a 1991 thread Who would win the war.
They would fight each other to the bitter end.
Still The Cybermen or rather Cybusmen crossing between dimensions
and so can humans so Jake, Peter Tyler et al
just does it!! STill the Doctor is on the other side and
states that traveling through the void is causing the Earth
to nullify. Still the Doctor with reinforcements goes back and
get the Cybermen temporarily on side. The fight is on only for
Mickey to touch the Ark.
The Genesis Ark is a Time Lord PRison.
Solution, the Cybermen and the Daleks are void contaminated and
hence suck them in.
Peter, Jackie, Mickey, Rose and the rest of Pete's World crosses back.
Rose wants to stay with the
Doctor so much that she crosses again. The cyberized Yvonne
fight off the Cybermen. All Daleks except the
Black dalek and Cybermen are sucked in.
Rose is sucked in only to be rescued by Pete Tyler!
Still ROse says her final goodbyes on Pete's World and the Doctor
see a bride.
Get ready for the Runaway Bride!

8.2/10
This is hot!! Rose recites most of her DW adventures.
Ghosts trying to break through. You finally meet modern Torchwood
and the whole Planet is affected.
Who and what are these 'ghosts'. The Doctor try to determine via TARDIS
and end up finding the source somewhere in London.
And now we have Jackie and Rose traveling with the Doctor.
This is where is gets hotter.
Torchwood, namely the LOVELY Yvonne , notes the TARDIS and
welcomes her prisoner the Doctor.
The Doctor is greeted by Torchwood namely Yvonne , pulls Jackie instead of
Rose and is given the grand tour. Nice to see someone rejecting metric!
The Void Ship, what is the Void Ship?
3 of Torchwood staff has been Lumicized (Cyberized by Lumic's Cybermen).
The Doctor convince Yvonne he can be of help.
Rose is caught only to meet up with Mickey.
The Cybermen are revealed as the ghosts and
the Cybermen reveal that the void ship lead them to
the Doctor's beloved Earth.
Jackie, Raj and Mickey see who is travelling in the Void Ship: Daleks!!
Get ready for the GRANDE Finale!
