NS2 Tooth and Claw - Review

8/10 Just like New Earth.

Enjoyable.

The start you are not certain about these humans who have

superpowers and then you have to wonder about the box.

With the expectation of 21 Nov 1979, the Doctor finds himself in 1879.

Tribute to the McCrimmon, Doctor James McCrimmon.

What happened to James Robert McCrimmon?

Still the We are not amused idea just kills a near perfect script.

The Torchwood Estate is picuresque, but Sir McLeish

could not ward away a tired fly thank you very much.

Endevour, what a room , but for what purposes.

The Doctor does note the 'telescope'.

Time for Rose to get clothe and the Brethren to stir up mistletoe stew.

Rose discovers the servant only to discover an unconscious soldier

and then get taken out of the picture.

The simultaneous story of the McLeish Wolf and the Wolf itself is

a rather good interwove with the Wolf coming to life

in the process.

Still the Priest's lack of respect for Queen Victoria does deserve the bullet.

And then the Wolf and the hunt. This is a Wolf and hunt story from here on in.

Thwe Wolf hunting the Queen and pushing those who gets in the way.

The Doctor taking on the impossible as always. And then the mystery

becomes clearer. A safe room of a library with mistletoe varnish.

The women and maids stewing up mistletoe. And Sir McLeish brand a

traitor. STING!!

Still the Doctor in Doctor 2 and 9 mode goes whacky as a

Doctor in 10 Downing Street (recall WWIII).

Still Sir McLeish redeems himself and the Doctor and Rose lights up

the chamber. The diamond makes the perfect weapon to crucify the wolf

and down goes the wolf and cult.

And the Knighting of Doctor and Rose does give us the anti-climax.

Typricall Commissar RTD. the Queen thanks the Doctor and Rose

and in the We are not amused category, banishes them.

Rose speculates on the Royal and the Queen set up

the Torchwood Institute to combat aliens and the Doctor.

Please RTD, we are not amused!
