NS2 Show 3 School Reunion

8.75/10 and bring back the crillotines(sp?).

Toby is a brilliant writer.

The opening gets to the point. Those who will not be missed are eliminated.

Those who do well will become part of 'something great'.

The Doctor poses as John Smith Teacher to see if Mickey Smith is on to

something. The one student Milo confirms what Mickey has tipped both Rose

and the Doctor.

While the Doctor poses as a teacher, Rose poses as a cafeteria servant.

In confering with Mickey , Rose discover a strange oil in the kitchen

with most of the workers replace.

Some student are subject to an interesting green computer.

The teacher queries one teacher about the situation and Finch the headmaster

introduces Sarah Jane Smith, the most open journalist he must have met.

The Doctor remember with fondness his former companion Sarah Jane Smith.

After school night SJSmith, The Doctor, Rose and Mickey decides to break in.

IS there a bat on guard? Rose gets the oil, The Doctor and SJSmith reunites

after SJSmith is scared off by a bat only to realize who John Smith is.

And Mickey CRASHES into vacuum packed rats.

The Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith meets up with Rose.

SJSmith is taken aback about what the Doctor did not speak about her.

The Doctor needs his TARDIS to analyse the oil only to find that SJSmith has

over London and thought of the Doctor. Aberdeen is certainly not even close

Sarah Jane and Rose are trying to break into a computer only to get into

a snarly cat fight. Scene of the Season thus far. Still as soon as the

Doctor arrives, they end up giggling.

'Finch' decides to go ahead with his plan, get the students in and devour the

rest of the human staff.

Lockdown and showtime. The Doctor realizes that the crillotines are trying

to get control of creation. Sounds like the Time Lords vs the Daleks.

Still Kenny is trapped and calls for help. K-9 comes to live.

'We are in a car' . Help comes in the form of a Volkwagen battering ram.

'Finch' decides to tempt the Doctor. SJSmith remembers some of the stuff the

3rd and 4th Doctor said to her. Crash goes a screen and the crillotines decide

to have it out with the Doctor and entourage.

Cornered in the cafeteria, you think game over.

Enter K-9 to eliminate the opposition. Enough that the Doctor barricades the

entourage in the physics room.

The Solution, use crillotine oil and get to the kitchen.

How do you get past bats. Kenny raises the alarm and the bats go batty!

Kitchen time and the crillotines are in pursuit. IT is up to Mickey to

evacuate the school (just pull the plug) , and the Doctor and K-9

decides to laser place a vat. Yes the oil is deadly and does blow up the

crillotines (recall vinegar and the Slitheens?) .

Can you say excited tots?

Typical SJSmith she loses K-9 and just count the lost as a tin metal dog

gone for now.

SO SJSmith get a look into the new TARDIS and encourage Mickey to stay on

(face it Mickey is getting gutsy).

As the TARDIS dematerialises, K-9 is seen. SJSmith is happy again.

Anthony Stewart Head is marvelous in his villaneous role.

Elisabeth Sladen is a natural. Toby is better than RTD on the script.

Caught a preview if Girl in the Fireplace. I shall be ready.

NS2 Tooth and Claw - Review

8/10 Just like New Earth.

Enjoyable.

The start you are not certain about these humans who have

superpowers and then you have to wonder about the box.

With the expectation of 21 Nov 1979, the Doctor finds himself in 1879.

Tribute to the McCrimmon, Doctor James McCrimmon.

What happened to James Robert McCrimmon?

Still the We are not amused idea just kills a near perfect script.

The Torchwood Estate is picuresque, but Sir McLeish

could not ward away a tired fly thank you very much.

Endevour, what a room , but for what purposes.

The Doctor does note the 'telescope'.

Time for Rose to get clothe and the Brethren to stir up mistletoe stew.

Rose discovers the servant only to discover an unconscious soldier

and then get taken out of the picture.

The simultaneous story of the McLeish Wolf and the Wolf itself is

a rather good interwove with the Wolf coming to life

in the process.

Still the Priest's lack of respect for Queen Victoria does deserve the bullet.

And then the Wolf and the hunt. This is a Wolf and hunt story from here on in.

Thwe Wolf hunting the Queen and pushing those who gets in the way.

The Doctor taking on the impossible as always. And then the mystery

becomes clearer. A safe room of a library with mistletoe varnish.

The women and maids stewing up mistletoe. And Sir McLeish brand a

traitor. STING!!

Still the Doctor in Doctor 2 and 9 mode goes whacky as a

Doctor in 10 Downing Street (recall WWIII).

Still Sir McLeish redeems himself and the Doctor and Rose lights up

the chamber. The diamond makes the perfect weapon to crucify the wolf

and down goes the wolf and cult.

And the Knighting of Doctor and Rose does give us the anti-climax.

Typricall Commissar RTD. the Queen thanks the Doctor and Rose

and in the We are not amused category, banishes them.

Rose speculates on the Royal and the Queen set up

the Torchwood Institute to combat aliens and the Doctor.

Please RTD, we are not amused!

New Earth NS2 Show 1

8/10!!

Good season opener.

This tails off The Christmas Invasion after the celebration.

Really liked to Doctor getting himself back from regeneration

recover mode.

The TARDIS going farther than before?? Anyone recall the Ark?

Bad guys in the Hospital all over. Grand. Still Cassandra back!

Ah yes she recalls Rose can cannot deduce the man with her.

Psychic paper up and going. Boe rocks!

Cassandra jumping all over the place. A bit vain but anyone recall Meglos?

Also WAY too much sexualization done by Cassandra.

Also recall Tomb/Attack of the Cybermen,

humanity is Telosified if you are sick.

Cruel cats you say? RTD does make a statement about science and the void

of morality.

Cassandra sprung her own trap. LOL!! Plan B was as bad as Plan A.

What about the don't touch him lines? Sounds very familiar. McCoy anyone?

Still the Doctor does save the day uniquely the way the Doctor does.

I await the next scene with the Face of Boe.

And Cassandra 'dies' dignifyably.

Still the show is back and kudos to RTD.
