number of their names, every male by their polls,

on the first day of the second month, and they declared their

pedigrees according to their families, by the house of their fathers,

according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward,

by their polls.

19 As the Lord commanded Moses,

so he numbered them in the Wilderness of Sinai.

were 54400.

30 (Nu 26:26-27) Of the children of Zebulun,

by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers,

according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward

all who were able to go out to war,

31 (Nu 26:27) those who were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Zebulun,

were 57400.

32 (Nu 26:35–37; Dt 33:17) Of the children of Joseph,

namely, of the children of Ephraim,

by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers,

according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward,

all who were able to go out to war, 33Nu 26:37those who were numbered of them,

even of the tribe of Ephraim, were 40500 .

34 Of the children of Manasseh,

by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers,

according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward,

all who were able to go out to war,

were 32200 .

36 (Ge 49:27) Of the children of Benjamin,

by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers,

were 35400 .

38 (Ge 46:23) Of the children of Dan,

by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers,

39 (Nu 26:43) those who were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Dan,

were 62700 .

40 Of the children of Asher,

by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers,

according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward,

all who were able to go out to war,

41 (Nu 26:47) those who were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Asher,

were 41500 .

42 Of the children of Naphtali,

by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers,

according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward,

all who were able to go out to war,

43 (Nu 26:50) those who were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Naphtali,

were 53400 .

44 (Nu 26:64) These are those who were numbered,

which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the leaders of Israel,

being twelve men. Each one was for the house of his fathers.

45 So were all those who were numbered of the children of Israel,

by the house of their fathers, from twenty years old and upward,

all who were able to go out to war in Israel.

46 (Ex 12:37; 38:26) Even all they who were numbered

were 603550 .

47 (Nu 2:33; 3:1–4:49) But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers

were not numbered among them.

48 For the Lord had spoken to Moses, saying:

49 (Nu 26:62) Only you will not number the tribe of Levi,

nor take the census of them among the children of Israel,

50 (Ex 38:21; 31:18; Nu 4:15) but you will appoint the Levites over the tent

of the testimony, and over all its vessels,

and over all things that belong to it. They will carry the tabernacle,

and all its vessels, and they will minister to it,

and will camp around the tabernacle.

51 (Nu 3:38; 3:10) When the tabernacle sets out, the Levites will take it down,

and when the tabernacle is to be set up, the Levites will set it up,

and the foreigner that approaches will be put to death.

52 (Nu 2:2; 2:34) The children of Israel will pitch their tents,

every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard,

throughout their armies.

53 (Nu 16:46; Lev 10:6) But the Levites will camp around the tabernacle

of the testimony, so there will be no wrath on the congregation

of the children of Israel. And the Levites will keep the charge

of the tabernacle of the testimony.

54 Thus the children of Israel did according

to all that the Lord commanded Moses.

2) Our Daily Bread for 23 Feb 2021

https://odb.org/CA/2021/02/23/turn-on-the-light

entitled Turn on the Light

Matthew 5:14–16

14 (Jn 8:12; Pr 4:18) "You are the light of the world.

A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.

15 (Mk 4:21; Lk 8:16) Neither do men light a candle

and put it under a basket, but on a candlestick.

And it gives light to all who are in the house.

16 (1Pe 2:12; Mt 9:8; Jn 15:8) Let your light so shine

before men that they may see your good works

and glorify your Father who is in heaven."

As my husband and I prepared for a cross-country move,

I wanted to ensure that we kept in touch with our grown sons.

I found a unique gift, friendship lamps connected by wireless

internet, which can be turned on remotely. When I gave the lamps

to my sons, I explained that their lamps will turn on

when I touch my lamp-to provide a shining reminder

of my love and ongoing prayers. No matter how great

the distance between us, a tap on their lamps would trigger

a light in our home too. Though we knew nothing could replace

our more personal moments of connection, we could be encouraged

by knowing we're loved and prayed for every time we turned on those lights.

All God's children have the privilege of being light-sharers powered

by the Holy Spirit. We're designed to live as radiant beacons

of God's everlasting hope and unconditional love. When we're sharing

the gospel and serving others in the name of Jesus, we become brilliant

spotlights and living testimonies. Every good deed, kind smile, gentle

word of encouragement, and heartfelt prayer produces a beaming reminder

of God's faithfulness

and His unconditional and life-transforming love (Matthew 5:14–16).

Wherever God leads us, and however we serve Him, we can be

used by Him to help others shine His light. As God, by His Spirit,

provides the true illumination, we can reflect the light

and love of His presence.

Reflect & Pray

How can you be a light for Christ, intentionally expressing His love

to those in your sphere of influence this week? How can you shine

a light on God's love as you serve people who don’t know Him?

Loving Father, please fuel me with Your perfect truth and love

so I can shine a spotlight on You by loving You and others wherever I go.

Words in Season - Scripture Memory Tools

Week 3 - Saved Nowand Forver - Day 3 - Inseperable From God's Love

Romans 8:38-39

38 (Eph 1:21; 1Pe 3:22) For I am persuaded that neither death nor life,

neither angels nor principalities nor powers, neither things present

nor things to come,

39 (Ro 5:8) neither height nor depth, nor any other created thing,

shall be able to separate us from the love of God,

which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Separation is a fact of human life. Relationships disintegrate,

children grow up, loved ones die, husbands and wifes divorce,

friends changes and drift apart. We may resist change and separation,

but we must deal with them nevretheless.

Separation sometimes is a natural result odf growth and development;

sometimes it is a violent, cataclysmic shakingof an individual's life.

2 lifelong friends go separate ways to college or into future careers;

a church splits over doctrinal differences; a wife finds out a hidden

secret in her husband's past.

But with God, there is no separation, no death, no breaking of vows,

no growing beyond the relationship. Nothing, says Paul, can separate

us from the love of God. A skeleton in my closet, once revealed, may

cost me the trust of those I thought were my friends. But God knows

all my past, all my sin; he forgives, and it cannot separate me from him.

My present personal struggles may cause trouble in my job and result in

the loss of that income, but God understands what I'm going through,

and even when I'm angry at him, he can take it without drawing away

or striking back. My present problems cannot separate me from the Lord.

And God knows, too, the plan he has established for my future. I cannot

walk away from him, grow beyond my need for him, or outrun him into

tomorrow.

She may separate me from my awareness of God's presence in my life,

but it cannot set me beyond his reach. There is no power that is greater

than God's love, and no place I can go that will separate me

from that love.

Application

a) Have I ever felt separated from the love of God? Under what circumstances?

b) How can today's verse free me from anxiety about the past,

the persent or the future?

4) From Prosperity Promises - Kenneth Copeland

Gen 14:22-23

22 (Ex 6:8; Da 12:7) But Abram said to the king of Sodom,

"I have lifted up my hand to the Lord, God Most High,

the Possessor of heaven and earth,

23 (2Ki 5:16; Est 9:15–16) that I will take nothing that is yours,

not a thread or a sandal strap; lest you say, 'I have made Abram rich.'"

5) From a Book called God's Promises for you:

God's Unfailing Love

Lamen 3:19-24

119 (La 3:5; 3:15) Remember my affliction and my misery,

the wormwood and the gall.

20 (Ps 42:5-6; 42:11) Surely my soul remembers

and is humbled within me.

21 (Ps 130:7) But this I call to mind,

and therefore I have hope:

22 (Mal 3:6; Ps 78:38) It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed;

His compassions do not fail.

23 (Zep 3:5; Ps 36:5) They are new every morning;

great is Your faithfulness.

24 (Ps 16:5; 73:26) "The Lord is my portion," says my soul,

"therefore I will hope in Him."

The Lord's Prayer

Matthew 6:9-13

9 "Therefore pray in this manner:

Our Father who is in heaven,

hallowed be Your name.

10 (Mt 3:2; 4:17) Your kingdom come;

Your will be done

on earth, as it is in heaven.

11 (Pr 30:8; Isa 33:16) Give us this day our daily bread.

12 (Ex 34:7; Ps 32:1) And forgive us our debts,

as we forgive our debtors.

13 (1Co 10:13; Jn 17:15) And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen."

Alberta

Quick facts on Muslims in Alberta

Alberta 2015 population 4121700

est Muslim Population 195240

CNMM Networks: Calgary and Edmonton

It is estimated that Calgary has 82000 Muslims and Edmonton another 50000 .

Alberta may have a total as hihg as 195240 today.

Calgary is notable as the first Canadian city with a Muslim mayor. It's

become a prominent place of Islamic fundamentalism.

Edmonton's Muslim population is very diverse, with the legrest group

coming from Tanzania, followed by Somalia, and then North African countries

such as Egypt, Morocco, etc.

Muslims are coming to faith in JEsus! They overcome huge spiritual,

emotional and cultural hurdles to follow Christ. Yet their challenges still

continue, especially in growing in discpleship. They often fell lost in our

Western congreations, and euqally lost trying to find a church body with whom

they can identify. some are even being lured into Christian cult groups.

Please join us in praying for:

- The church to reach out to the growing Muslim populations in Alberta.

- for Canadian churches to start contextualised discipleship ministries to

Muslim-background believers.

- for Muslm-background believers to be well grounded spiritually and socially

in their faith and the Church.

- and for Muslim-background believers to share their faith with their

not-yet-believing family and friendship networks.

- for Farsi and Arabic fellowships to grow in spiritual maturity and outreach.

- for current and new workers among Muslims in these growing Muslim

30 days of prayer for the Muslim World 24 April to 23 May 2020

Under the Keep Praying page

When the new moon is sighted it marks the beginning of t he new Islamic month

and Eid al-Fitr, the "Festival of Breaking the Fast", will start! After 30 days

of fasting, the Eid celebration at the end of Ramadan is a joyful time that

usually lasts about 3 days. Muslims will buy new clothes, exchange gifts and,

of course, enjoy special foods. In Muslim-majority nations, the streets may be

decorated and festivals will be held.

For many Muslims, Eid-al-Fitr begins with communal prayers at daybreak and the

distribution of money (zakat) to the poor, which is one of the 5 pillars of

Islam.

You can greet Muslim friends during this time by saying "Eid Mubarak",

which means Blessed Eid!"

Ramadan is over for this year, but you can continue to pray for Muslims you

know, and Muslims around the world:

- Despite the unsettling developments in our world today that involve actions

in the name of Islam, there is at the same time a largely untold story about

unprecedented movement to Christ among Muslims. There have been more such

movements of thousands or more new disciples among Muslims in the last three

decades or so than in all the previous history of Christian Muslim

relationships! Pray for this momentum to continue.

Acts 2:12-17 : 17 "In the last days it shall be," says God,

"that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;

your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,

your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

18 Even on My menservants and maidservants

I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy.

19 And I will show wonders in heaven above and signs on the earth below:

blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke. 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness,

and the moon into blood, before that great and glorious day of the Lord comes.

21 And whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."[a]

Footnotes

Acts 2:21 Joel 2:28-32.

- Pray for Christian workers an organisations focused on seeing effective

discipleship movements among Muslim people.

- Ask the Holy Spirit to continue to inspire you to have god's heart for

Muslims, to see them as He does, and to be the light that then to Jesus.

Matthew 5:14-15 : 14 "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a

hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do men light a candle and put it under

a basket, but on a candlestick. And it gives light to all who are in the

house."

Ideas for prayer

- Pray for opportunities to show the love of Christ to Muslims around you

- Pray for, and offer generous hospitality to, those you know who are serving

Christ among Muslim people -

Romans 12:13 "contribute to the needs of the saints, practice hospitality."

- When you gather with fellow believers, remember to pray for Muslims

throughout the year and encourage them to also participate in 30 Days!

My paternal side is of Muslim heritage and will offer this section to further

call for Muslim converts to Christian and any other converts to Christianity

(Hindus, Jews, aboriginals Canadian, ...) .
