Does the Bible really say that Jesus is God?

Exodus 3:14



14 (Ex 6:3; Jn 8:58; Heb 13:8) And God said to Moses, "I am who I am,"

(The Heb. to be, related to the covenantal name of God translated Lord. )

and He said, "You will say this to the children of Israel,

'I am has sent me to you.' "



[14] And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou

say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.



Deut 32:39



39 (1Sa 2:6; Isa 45:5; 41:4) See now that I, even I, am He,

and there is no god besides Me;

I kill, and I make alive;

I wound, and I heal;

there is no one who can deliver out of My hand.



[39] See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and

I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out

of my hand.



Isaiah 43:10



10 (Isa 41:4; 42:1) You are My witnesses, says the Lord,

and My servant whom I have chosen

that you may know and believe Me,

and understand that I am He.

Before Me there was no God formed,

nor shall there be after Me.



[10] Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen:

that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me

there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

John 8:24



24 (Jn 8:21) Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins.

For unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins."

"Truly, truly I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM."

John 18:4-6



4 (Jn 13:1; 18:7) Jesus therefore, knowing everything that would happen

to Him, went forward and said to them, "Whom do you seek?"

5 They answered Him, "Jesus of Nazareth."

Jesus said to them, "I am He." And Judas, who betrayed Him,

was standing with them.

6 When He said, "I am He," they drew back and fell to the ground.



[4] Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went

forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?

[5] They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he.

And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.

[6] As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and

fell to the ground.
