EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

Currently, there is a serious shortage of professionally trained flooring installers in all areas of the flooring industry, and the housing industry is showing no signs of slowing down in Alberta.  In fact it seems to be exploding and there simply aren't enough trades people to go around.  Alberta is experiencing the worst shortages because of the tremendous boom going on here, but it will not be long before the other provinces begin to experience serious Trades shortages as well.

As the "Baby Boomers" begin to take early retirement, there is no one behind them to fill in these gaps.   We intend to give links to every academic institution that provides appropriate training for those wishing to enter the flooring trades.   Here we will also provide information on any grants, bursaries or other forms of financial assistance that are available to those wishing to make a career of this profession, as well as other important industry related links.    Scholastic centers that offer professional training in the flooring trades industry are invited to contact us.

A note to institutions already linked to:   if you feel the links given and the logos here are of improper use, please contact us and we will remove them immediately.
