Divisions in the Church
10 (1Co 11:18; Php 1:27) Now I ask you, brothers, by the name of our Lord
Jesus Christ, that you all speak in agreement and that there be no divisions
among you. But be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same
judgment.
11 (1Co 3:3) For it has been declared to me concerning you, my brothers,
by those who are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.
12 (Jn 1:42; 1Co 9:5) Now this is what I mean: Every one of you is saying,
"I am of Paul," or "I am of Apollos,"
or "I am of Cephas," or "I am of Christ."
13 (Mt 28:19; Ac 2:38) Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you?
Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?
14 (Ac 18:8; Ro 16:23) I thank God that I baptized none of you
except Crispus and Gaius,
15 lest any should say that I had baptised in my own name.
16 (1Co 16:15; 16:17) I also baptized the household of Stephanas.
Besides them, I do not know whether I baptized any other.

B ) Address Division
1 Corinthians 1
10 (1Co 11:18; Php 1:27)... that there be no divisions among you. ...
Titus 3:9-11
9 (2Ti 2:14; 2:23) But avoid foolish debates, genealogies, contentions,
and arguments about the law, for they are unprofitable and useless.
10 (Ro 16:17; 2Jn 1:10) Reject a divisive man after a first and second
admonition,
11 knowing that such a man is perverted and is sinning, being self-condemned.
[9] But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and
strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
[10] A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;
[11] Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned
of himself.

Ezekiel 9
The Slaughter of the Wicked
1 (Isa 6:8) He cried out also in my ears with a loud voice, saying,
"Cause those who have charge over the city to draw near, even every man
with his destroying weapon in his hand."
2 (Lev 16:4; Eze 10:2) Six men came from the way of the higher gate
which lies toward the north, each with his battle weapon in his hand.
And one man among them was clothed with linen with a writer's case
by his side. And they went in and stood beside the bronze altar.
3 (Eze 10:4; 11:22-23) Then the glory of the God of Israel ascended
from the cherub on which it had been, to the threshold of the temple.
And He called to the man clothed with linen who had the writer's case
by his side.
4 (Ex 12:7; Ps 119:53) And the Lord said to him, "Go through the midst
of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark
upon the foreheads of the men who sigh and groan
for all the abominations that are done in its midst."
5 (Eze 5:11) To the others He said in my hearing, "Go after him
through the city and strike. Do not let your eye spare or have pity.
6 (2Ch 36:17; Jer 25:29) Utterly slay old and young, both maidens
and little children, and women. But do not touch any man on whom is the mark.

and fill the courts with the slain. Go forth!" So they went out
and killed in the city.
8 (Eze 11:13; Nu 14:5; Jos 7:6) While they were killing, I was left alone;
and I fell on my face and cried out,
"Ah, Lord God! Will You destroy all the rest of Israel by Your pouring
out of Your fury upon Jerusalem?"
9 (Eze 8:12; Job 22:13) Then He said to me, "The iniquity of the house
of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great, and the land is full of blood,
and the city is full of perverseness. For they say,
'The Lord has forsaken the land, and the Lord does not see.'

I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their heads."
11 Then the man clothed with linen who had the case by his side
reported the matter, saying, "I have done just as You have commanded me."

Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

[8] And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that
I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy
all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?
[9] Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is
exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of
perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD
seeth not.
[10] And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity,
but I will recompense their way upon their head.
[11] And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the inkhorn by his
side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me.
Ezekiel 10
The Glory of God Leaves the Temple
1 (Ex 24:10; Rev 4:2-3) Then I looked, and in the expanse
that was above the heads of the cherubim there appeared over them,
as it were, a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.
2 (Rev 8:5; Eze 1:13) And He spoke to the man clothed with linen and said,
"Go in between the wheels under the cherubim and fill your hands with coals
of fire from among the cherubim and scatter them over the city."
And he entered in my sight.
3 Now the cherubim stood on the right side of the temple when the man went in,
and the cloud filled the inner court.
4 (Eze 1:28; 9:3) Then the glory of the Lord went up from the cherub
and stood over the threshold of the temple. And the house was filled
with the cloud, and the court was full
of the brightness of the glory of the Lord.
5 (Eze 1:24; Job 40:9) The sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard even
in the outer court, like the voice of the Almighty God when He speaks.
6 (Eze 10:2) When He had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying,
"Take fire from between the wheels, from among the cherubim," he went in
and stood beside the wheel.
7 One cherub stretched out his hand from among the cherubim to the fire
that was between the cherubs, and took some, and put it into the hands
of him who was clothed with linen, who took it and went out.
8 (Eze 1:8; 10:21) There appeared among the cherubim the form of a man's
hand under their wings.
9 (Da 10:6; Rev 21:20) Then I looked, and there were the four wheels
by the cherubim, one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub.
And the appearance of the wheels was as the color of a beryl stone.
10 As for their appearances, all four had one likeness, as if one wheel
had been in the middle of a wheel.
11 (Eze 1:17; 10:22) When they went, they went on their four sides.
They did not turn as they went, but they followed to the place
wherever the head looked. They did not turn as they went.
12 (Eze 1:18; Rev 4:6) Their whole body, and their backs, and their hands,
and their wings, and the wheels that the four had were full of eyes all round.
13 As for the wheels, they were called in my hearing the whirling wheels.
14 (1Ki 7:36; Rev 4:7) Each one had four faces. The first face was the face
of a cherub, the second face was the face of a man,
the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.
15 (Eze 1:5) Then the cherubim rose up. They are the living creatures
that I saw by the River Kebar.
16 When the cherubim went, the wheels went by them. And when the cherubim
lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels
also would not turn from beside them.
17 (Eze 1:20-21) When the cherubim stood, the wheels stood.
And when they rose up, the wheels also rose up with them.
For the spirit of the living creatures was in them.
18 (Ps 18:10) Then the glory of the Lord departed from off the threshold
of the temple and stood over the cherubim.
19 The cherubim lifted up their wings and mounted up from the earth
in my sight. When they went out, the wheels were beside them.
They stood at the door of the east gate of the house of the Lord;
and the glory of the God of Israel was above them.
20 (Eze 1:1; 10:15) These are the living creatures that I saw under the God
of Israel by the River Kebar. So I knew that they were cherubim.
21 (Eze 1:6; 10:14) Every one had four faces apiece, and every one four wings.
And the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.
22 (Eze 1:10; 10:11) The likeness of their faces was the same faces
which I saw by the River Kebar, their appearances and themselves.
Each went straight forward.

river of Chebar; and I knew that they were the cherubims.

likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.

Ezekiel 11
God's Judgment on Wicked Counselors
1 (Eze 3:12; 8:16) Moreover the Spirit lifted me up and brought me
to the east gate of the house of the Lord which faces eastward.
And at the door of the gate were 25 men, among whom I saw Jaazaniah
the son of Azzur and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, officials of the people.
2 (Ps 2:1-2; 52:2) Then He said to me, "Son of man, these are the men
who devise mischief and give wicked counsel in this city,
3 (Eze 12:22; 12:27) who say, 'The time is not near to build houses.
This city is the cauldron, and we are the flesh.'
4 Therefore prophesy against them; prophesy, son of man!"
5 (Jer 17:10; Eze 2:2) Then the Spirit of the Lord fell upon me,
and He said to me, Say, Thus says the Lord: Thus you have said,
O house of Israel, for I know the things that come into your mind,
every one of them.
6 (Eze 7:23; Isa 1:15) You have multiplied your slain in this city,
and you have filled the streets with them.
7 (Eze 24:3-13; Mic 3:2-3) Therefore thus says the Lord God:
Your slain whom you have laid in the midst of it,
they are the flesh and this city is the cauldron. But I will bring you
out of the midst of it.
8 (Pr 10:24; Job 3:25) You have feared the sword, so I will bring
a sword upon you, says the Lord God.
9 (Eze 5:8; Dt 28:36) I will bring you out of the midst of the city
and deliver you into the hands of strangers and execute judgments
against you.
10 (2Ki 14:25; 25:19-21) You shall fall by the sword. I will judge you
in the border of Israel. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.
11 (Eze 11:3) This city shall not be your cauldron, nor shall you be
the flesh in the midst of it, but I will judge you in the border
of Israel.
12 (Eze 8:10; 8:14) Thus you shall know that I am the Lord.
For you have not walked in My statutes, or executed My judgments,
but have done after the customs of the nations all around you.
13 (Eze 9:8; 11:1) Now while I was prophesying, Pelatiah the son of Benaiah
died. Then fell I down upon my face and cried out with a loud voice and said,
"Ah, Lord God! Will You make a full end of the remnant of Israel?"
[1] Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of
the LORD's house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate
five and twenty men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and
Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, the princes of the people.
[2] Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise
mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:
[3] Which say, It is not near; let us build houses: this city is the
caldron, and we be the flesh.
[4] Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.
[5] And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus
saith the LORD; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things
that come into your mind, every one of them.

statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of
the heathen that are round about you.
[13] And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of
Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice,
and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?
The Exiles - Return Promised
14 Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
15 (Eze 33:24) Son of man, your brothers, your kindred, your fellow captives,
and all the house of Israel, all of them, are they to whom the inhabitants
of Jerusalem have said, "Go far from the Lord. This land has been given
to us as a possession."
16 (Isa 8:14; Ps 90:1) Therefore say, Thus says the Lord God:
Although I have cast them far off among the nations, and although
I have scattered them among the countries, yet I will be a sanctuary
to them for a little while in the countries where they have gone.
17 (Eze 28:25; Jer 3:18) Therefore say, Thus says the Lord God:
I will gather you from the peoples and assemble you out of the countries
where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.
18 (Eze 5:11; 37:23) When they come there, they shall take away
all the detestable things and all the abominations from it.
19 (Eze 18:31; Zec 7:12) I will give them one heart, and I will put
a new spirit within them. And I will take the stony heart out of their flesh,
and give them a heart of flesh,
20 (Ps 105:45; Eze 14:11) that they may walk in My statutes,
and keep My ordinances, and do them. And they shall be My people,
and I will be their God.
21 (Eze 9:10; 11:18) But as for those whose hearts walk after the hearts
of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense
their way upon their own heads, says the Lord God.
22 (Eze 10:19) Then the cherubim lifted up their wings with the wheels
beside them. And the glory of the God of Israel was over them.
23 (Zec 14:4; Eze 8:4) The glory of the Lord went up from the midst
of the city and stood on the mountain which is on the east side of the city.
24 (Eze 8:3; 11:1) Afterwards the Spirit took me up
and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea
to those of the captivity.
So the vision that I had seen went up from me.
25 (Eze 3:4; 2:7) Then I spoke to those of the captivity all the things
that the Lord had shown me.
[14] Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
[15] Son of man, thy brethren, even thy brethren, the men of thy kindred,
and all the house of Israel wholly, are they unto whom the inhabitants of
Jerusalem have said, Get you far from the LORD: unto us is this land given
in possession.
[16] Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far
off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the
countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries
where they shall come.

Ezekiel 12
Judah's Captivity Symbolized
1 The word of the Lord also came to me, saying:
2 (Ps 78:40; Isa 1:23) Son of man, you dwell in the midst
of a rebellious house, which has eyes to see but does not see,
and ears to hear but does not hear. For they are a rebellious house.
3 (Jer 36:3; 26:3) Therefore, son of man, prepare baggage for captivity
and go into captivity by day in their sight. And you shall go into captivity
from your place to another place in their sight. It may be that they
understand, though they are a rebellious house.
4 (Jer 39:4; 2Ki 25:4) You shall bring out your belongings by day in their
sight, as baggage for exile; and you shall go out at evening in their sight,
as those who go into exile.
5 Dig a hole through the wall in their sight,and go out thereby.
6 (Eze 4:3; Isa 8:18) In their sight you shall bear it on your shoulders
and carry it out in the twilight. You shall cover your face so that you
cannot see the land. For I have set you as a sign to the house of Israel.
7 (Eze 24:18; 37:7) I did so as I was commanded. I brought out my baggage
by day as baggage for captivity, and in the evening I dug through the wall
with my own hands. I brought it out at twilight,
carrying it on my shoulder in their sight.
8 In the morning the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
9 (Eze 17:12; 24:19) Son of man, has not the house of Israel,
the rebellious house, said to you, "What are you doing?"
10 (2Ki 9:25; Isa 13:1) Say to them, "Thus says the Lord God:
This oracle concerns the prince in Jerusalem
and all the house of Israel who are in it."
11 (Jer 15:2; 52:15) Say, "I am your sign.
"As I have done, so it shall be done to them. They shall go into exile,
into captivity."
12 (2Ki 25:4; Jer 39:4) The prince who is among them shall bear his baggage
on his shoulder in the twilight and go out. They shall dig through the wall
to carry it out thereby. He shall cover his face so that he cannot see
the land with his eyes.
13 (Eze 17:20; Hos 7:12) My net also I will spread upon him, and he shall be
taken in My snare. And I will bring him to Babylon to the land
of the Chaldeans. Yet he shall not see it, though he shall die there.
14 (Eze 5:2; 2Ki 25:4-5) I will scatter toward every wind all who are about
him, his helpers and all his troops. And I will draw out the sword after them.
15 (Eze 6:7; 6:14) Then they shall know that I am the Lord when I scatter them
among the nations and disperse them among the countries.
16 (Jer 22:8-9; Eze 14:22-23) But I will spare a few men of them from
the sword, from famine, and from pestilence, so that they may declare
all their abominations among the nations where they go and know
that I am the Lord.

On July 29, 1955, the United States of America announced its intent to place
satellites in space. Soon after, the Soviet Union declared its plans to do the
same. The space race had begun. The Soviets would launch the first satellite
(Sputnik) and place the first human in space when Yuri Gagarin orbited our
planet one time. The race continued until, on July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong's
"giant leap for mankind" on the surface of the moon would unofficially end
the competition. A season of cooperation soon dawned, leading to the creation
of the International Space Station.
Sometimes competition can be healthy, driving us to achieve things that
otherwise we might not have attempted. At other times, however, competition is
destructive. This was a problem in the church at Corinth as different groups
latched on to various church leaders as their beacons of hope. Paul sought to
address that when he wrote, "Neither the one who plants nor the one who waters
is anything, but only God, who makes things grow" (1 Corinthians 3:7),
concluding "for we are co-workers" (v. 9).
Co-workers—not competitors. And not just with one another but with God
Himself! Through His empowering and His guidance, we can serve together as
fellow workers to advance the message of Jesus, for His honor rather than our
own.

Romans 3:23-24
23 (Ro 3:9) For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God,

A distinguished middle-aged man stood trembling before his church
to give his testimony. Years before, in the grip of a mental illness
that nearly destroyed his life, he had taken the life of his own daughter
and tried to kill himself. But he did not die; tried and convicted, he
spent years in prison, and even longer in the prison of his own guilt.
After the service, a young woman walked up to him and simply said,
"Thank you for sharing. I've sinned, too."
We've all sinned, too - lest we forget or rationalise, the Bible reminds
us in no uncertain terms. And the writer of these verses was no stranger
to sin: he was the Pharisee, the holier-than-thou religious leader
who officiated at the stoning death of Stephen. He was the Jew who had
scattered and killed the followers of this heretic called Christ. He
thought he was righteous while he murdered God's people.
Christians tends to establish a "hierarchy" of sin - sexual sin is "worse"
than pride: murder is "more horrible" than slander. Yet the Bible gives
no indication that god acknowledges our hierarchy. Sin is sin; all have
sinned, and if we are guilty at one point, we are guilty of all.
Rather than rationalise our individual sins as being "less bad"
than someone else's, we need to openly confess our dilemma as sinners
and turn to God for his remedy. We cannot and do not need to earn or
deserve that grace - it is a gift from God.
Application
a) Have I ever compared my sin with someone else's in order
to make myself fell like a better person? Why is such
comparison not a valid remedy for sin?
b) Why do I need to acknowledge my sin honestly before I can
receive justification?

Moncton, followed by Fredericton and Saint John, each have a growing Muslim
population in New Brunswick, In 2007, the building that was formerly a Baptist
church was converted into Moncton's 1st mosque. The University of Moncton
also has a Muslim student association hosting prayer services, fellowship
getherings, and outreaches on campus.
Fredericton also has one mosque and a Muslim student association serving the
campuses of the University of New Brunswick and St. Thomas University.
Fredericton's Muslim population consists in 2014 of about 50 families,
and between 300 to 400 university students.
Saint John is home to the 1st Muslim Association for the province,
which also helped foster the Islamic associations of Fredericton and Moncton.
a 'musalla', or prayer location that is not officially structured as a mosque,
has been established in the Uptown area with the intention of seeing it grow
into a 2nd official place of Muslim worship. Demand for this new location has
been primarily for university students moving into the area.
Pray for Muslims and New Brunswick
- that the eyes of pastors, believers and entire congregations will be opened
to see this growing body of Muslims, and their hearts will be opened
to sharing God's love in Jesus Christ with them
- that intentional ministries to Muslims will grow and flourish in these
areas of concentration
- that cooperative CNNMM Networks will form to really, encourage,
and equip believers to lovingly reach Muslims in this province.

When the new moon is sighted it marks the beginning of t he new Islamic month
and Eid al-Fitr, the "Festival of Breaking the Fast", will start! After 30 days
of fasting, the Eid celebration at the end of Ramadan is a joyful time that
usually lasts about 3 days. Muslims will buy new clothes, exchange gifts and,
of course, enjoy special foods. In Muslim-majority nations, the streets may be
decorated and festivals will be held.
For many Muslims, Eid-al-Fitr begins with communal prayers at daybreak and the
distribution of money (zakat) to the poor, which is one of the 5 pillars of
Islam.
You can greet Muslim friends during this time by saying "Eid Mubarak",
which means Blessed Eid!"
Ramadan is over for this year, but you can continue to pray for Muslims you
know, and Muslims around the world:
- Despite the unsettling developments in our world today that involve actions
in the name of Islam, there is at the same time a largely untold story about
unprecedented movement to Christ among Muslims. There have been more such
movements of thousands or more new disciples among Muslims in the last three
decades or so than in all the previous history of Christian Muslim
relationships! Pray for this momentum to continue.
Acts 2:12-17 : 17 12 They were all amazed and perplexed, saying to each other,
"What does this mean?"
13 (1Co 14:23) Others mocking said, "These men are full of new wine."

- Ask the Holy Spirit to continue to inspire you to have god's heart for
Muslims, to see them as He does, and to be the light that then to Jesus.
Matthew 5:14-15 : 14 "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a
hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do men light a candle and put it under
a basket, but on a candlestick. And it gives light to all who are in the
house."
Ideas for prayer
- Pray for opportunities to show the love of Christ to Muslims around you
- Pray for, and offer generous hospitality to, those you know who are serving
Christ among Muslim people -
Romans 12:13 "contribute to the needs of the saints, practice hospitality."
- When you gather with fellow believers, remember to pray for Muslims
throughout the year and encourage them to also participate in 30 Days!

Conclusion:
Pray to the Lord and pray Dear Jesus, thank you for giving us the example
of harmony. Forgive us for criticising our brothers and sisters in Christ and
for judging them because of our differences . Help us to focus on our mission
with Jesus Christ and encourage one another as part of the family of God. May
we live in harmony with each other and be of one mind, united in thought
and purpose. May we also be untied in love just as You are united with the
Father in love. Amen.
Pray to the Lord and pray a prayer for your nation not to fall into a sin trap.
Pray to the Lord: "Loving God, thank You for the privilege of serving You.
Please teach me the value of working to honour You and help others."
Pray to the Lord and pray to know the flesh as Sin
and that Jesus is the only cure.
