The roots of integrated pest management (IPM) have been around for over a century. The future use of chemical pesticides in plant protection may rely on applicators developing, documenting and applying an integrated pest management program. This seminar will outline the basic steps involved in developing an IPM program. Also examined will be the benefits of an IPM program and tactics of IPM.
