What to do if you think you have been comprimised



1) Update then run your anti-virus!! Most anti-viral programmes come with some ant-spyware. The kay is update all definitions daily!

2) Run anti-spyware programmes. There are other malicious software (malware) that anti-viral programmes will not pick up.

I recommend you at least run 3

a) Superantispyware found at http://www.superantispyware.com/

b) Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware found at http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

c) Spybot - Search & Destroy found at http://www.safer-networking.org/



These 3 programmes will find malicious software that is not viral yet can comprimise your security. Again please update these daily.

We support WordPress however please follow these instructions:



the best way to solve

it is to create the wp-config.php file in the root directory of the

wordpress installation. I normally just "touch" the file to create it,

but you could upload an empty file instead or use vi - whatever. Point

is, once it is created/uploaded, then set the permissions of it to 777.

The server will then be able to write to it and set all of the

configuration variables. That should work. Other then that, I often

chmod 777 the entire wp-content directory, as thats where all image

uploads and the like are stored.
